How We Can Help
At Street Teams, we’re here to listen, support, and help you stay safe, without judgement.
We know it can be hard to open up when you’re worried about something that’s happening to you or someone you care about, but you don’t have to face it alone.
We work with children, young people and families across Walsall and the surrounding areas to reduce exploitation and other risks outside of the home.
Our team understands how things like friendships, peer pressure, social media, and community environments can affect your safety and we help you make sense of it all.
We Can Help You By:
Listening and supporting you to understand what’s happening and how you feel
Helping you stay safe — online, in relationships, and in your community
Offering 1:1 or small group support to build confidence and coping skills
Connecting you with fun and positive activities like sports, art, and outdoor sessions
Helping your family get support with things like housing, mental health, and wellbeing
Working with your school or youth workers (if you want us to) to make sure you’re supported everywhere you go
You’re in control of what happens next, we’ll go at your pace and make sure you feel comfortable every step of the way.
You’re Not Alone
If something doesn’t feel right, reach out.
You can:
Speak to one of our friendly team members
Ask a trusted adult (like a teacher or youth worker) to contact us
We believe every young person deserves to feel safe, respected, and free from harm and we’ll do everything we can to help make that happen.
